Abstract:
Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of dialectical acupoints selection therapy on functional dyspepsia associated with sleep disorders.Methods:Eighty patients receiving dialectical acupoints selection acupuncture for functional dyspepsia with sleep disorders were included in this study.The intensity and attack frequency of functional dyspepsia were evaluated after the treatment;Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was employed to compare the results before and after the therapy.Results:The outcome was good in 91.3% of the patients and only 7 cases(8.7%) complained of obvious abdominal pain and other symptoms;after treatment,the sleep quality,sleep efficiency,daytime dysfunction,falling-asleep time,sleep time and sleep disorders of the patients improved in different degree(P 0.01).Conclusions:Dialectical acupoints selection therapy has a good therapeutic effect on functional dyspepsia associated with sleep disorders.
