Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the association of turnover intention and occupational commitment among male nurses.Method:The male nurses from 10 different hospitals were selected to investigate their turnover intention and occupational commitment by using a questionnaire.Results:The total scores of the average turnover intention among male nurses were 16.233.18 and occupational commitment 72.1913.84.The occupational commitment level was negatively related to the affective commitment,normative commitment,economic commitment,affection cost commitment,opportunity commitment and the turnover intention among male nurses(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusion:Normative commitment and opportunity commitment are important factors affecting the turnover intention among male nurses.
