Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the blood platelet count(BPC) and liver function after splenectomy and disconnection in patient with portal hypertension. Methods:The clinical data of 106 patients treated with splenectomy and disconnection were retrospectively analyzed, the BPC of patient with grade A,B and C liver function were compared before and after operation. Results:The BPC in patients with grade A liver function were higher than that in patients with grade B and C liver function in 2 weeks after operation(P0.05 and P0.01).The BPC in patients with the improvement of liver function after operation were significantly higher than that before operation(P0.01).The differences of BPC in patients with the deterioration of liver function before and after operation had nostatistical significance(P0.05).The difference of BPC before and after operation in patients with the improvement of liver function was significantly higher than that in patients with the deterioration of liver function(P0.01).Conclusions:The decreasing BPC in patient with portal hypertension is related to hypersplenism and liver function.
