Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the effect of limbus cornea stem cell autograft transplantation with fresh amnion in treatment of recurrent pterygium.
Methods: Thirty patients with recurrent pterygium were treated.Complications and pterygium recurrence were analyzed.Patients were followed for at least 1 year.
Results: The treatment was significantly effective and no recurrent pterygium occurred.
Conclusions: Limbus cornea stem cell autograft transplantation with fresh amnion is a safe and effective method.
