Abstract:
Objective: To probe the cytogenetic base on male infertility patients.
Methods: The chromosome karyotypes of 266 male infertility patients were analyzed by cytogenetic method.
Results: Among 266 cases,66 cases(24.81% of total patients) showed abnormal karyotypes,including 52 cases(78.79% of totality) of Klinefelter syndrome,6 cases of Yqh+,6 cases of chromosome structure abnormality,one case of 46,XY,del(y),(q11) and one case of 46,XX male syndrome.
Conclusions: Chromosome abnormality is an important cause in male infertility,which has serious effect on the growth of male.Klinefelter syndrome is the main type of chromosome abnormality in male infertility.Comparing with others,its symptom is very typical.
