Abstract:
Objective To investigate the current status of work-life quality among obstetric nurses operating under a networked collaborative model, and analyse its influencing factors.
Methods By using the convenience sampling method, a survey study was conducted on obstetric nurses who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in 33 tertiary grade A hospitals in Anhui Province that implemented online nursing services from January to May 2024. The investigation tools were the general information questionnaire, Nurse Professional Identity Rating Scale, Nurse Psychological Resilience Scale and Work-related Quality of Life Scale.
Results Among 522 obstetric nurses, the total scores of professional identity, psychological resilience and work-related quality of life were (116.34 ± 24.64) points, (86.63 ± 16.08) and (120.99 ± 24.99) points, respectively. The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the work-related quality of life of obstetric nurses was positively correlated with the professional identity and psychological resilience(r values were 0.752 and 0.814, respectively, P xi< 0.05). The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the total duration of professional training related to obstetrics, participation willingness, professional identity and psychological resilience were the important factors affecting the work-related quality of life of obstetric nurses(P xi< 0.05).
Conclusions Under the network collaboration model, the obstetric nurses have a relatively high levels of professional identity, psychological resilience and work-related quality of life. Nursing managers should attach importance to the work-related quality of life of obstetric nurses, enhance their professional identity and psychological resilience, thereby improving the work-related quality of life of obstetric nurses and better serving pregnant women and newborns.
