Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the correlation between the coronary artery TIMI blood flow and vascular endothelial function, concentrations of serum homocysteine and cholesterin as well as.
Methods:One hundred and twenty patients received coronary angiography were selected. The main data (baseline of brachial artery, the flow-mediated dilatation and the nitroglycerin-induced dilatation) of the endothelial function were measured with high resolution ultrasonography before coronary angiography was performed and the concentrations of serum homocysteine and cholesterin were detected. Then the patients were grouped by TIMI blood flow as TIMI 3,2,1,0.
Results:The vascular endothelial function, the concentration of serum homocysteine and cholesterin were significant different among the TIMI grade groups (
P<0.01).
Conclusions:TIMI blood flow is correlated with the vascular endothelial function as well the concentration of serum homocysteine and cholesterin. The lower the grade of TIMI blood flow is,the heavier the vascular endothelial dilatation function damage will be,and the higher the concentrations of serum homocysteine and cholesterin.
