Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the curative and cost efficacy of inhalational therapy for asthma in children.
Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted in 702 asthma children(including cough variability asthma) with an age of 1-14 years.
Results: After inhalational therapy, the children's daytime symptom, night symptom and peak value expiration velocity of flow(PEF) improved significantly(P<0.001).The acute spasm extent of asthma decreased and their quality of life improved significantly(P<0.005).At the same time, the cost for tremtment decreased greatly(P<0.001).
Conclusions: The inhalational therapy for asthma could improve the patients' clinical symptom, improve their quality of life and relieve the family of the cost burden.
