Abstract:
Objective:To explore the clinical value of mammography and stereotactic biopsy in nonpalpable breast lesions.
Methods:Stereotactic biopsy was performed in 85 patients who appeared clinical nonpalpable breast lesions,but abnormality by mammography. The results were analyzed retrospectively.
Results:All lesions were resected only one time. Guide metal wire was completely taken out. There was no complication. In 85 cases,62 cases were diagnosed to be benign lesion,the other 23 cases were finally diagnosed to be malignant.
Conclusions:Mammography and stereotactic biopsy are useful in the diagnosis of the clinical nonpapable breast lesions. It is safe and reliable,which is an important method to find early breast cancer.
