Abstract: Objective: To analyze the key points in surgical management of sphenoid ridge meningioma.Methods: The clinical dada of 17 patients with sphenoid ridge meningioma were analyzed retrospectively.Results: Tumors were resected totally in 13 cases,subtotally in 3 cases and partially in 1 case.The visual disturbance occurred in 2 patients and hemiplegia in 1.Conclusions: The sphenoid ridge meningiomas should be resected as completely as possible on the premises of preserving the nerve and artery.The postoperative residual tumour should receive radiotherapy.
