Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical application of full-field digital mammography guided needle localization biopsy in nonpaloable breast lesion.
Methods: Froty-three cases were proved by surgery and pathology. All cases were performed with full-field digital mammography guided needle localization biopsy with routine method before surgery. Craniocaudal view and midiolateral view were conducted to show localization of needle.
Results: Among Froty-three cases, they were punctured successfully only one time,3 cases two times,23 cases had calcifications,10 cases showed small nodules with calcifications,6 cases showed small nodules,2 cases occurred focal architecture distortion with or without calcifications,2 cases demonstrated small focus of increased density,
Conclusions: Full-field digital mammography guided needle localization biopsy is a simple, quick and accurate technique. It has important value in nonpaloable breast lesion and operation.
