Abstract:
Objective:To observe the influence of Bu Shen Prescription on the level of local angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) in the left ventricular myocardial tissue of rats with pressure overload,and to study the possible mechanism of regressing the left ventricular remodeling.
Methods:Sixty SD male rats were randomly divided into five groups:shan operatien group,untreated group,captopril group,Bushen prescription high dosage group and the low dosage group,12 rats in each group.Left venticular mass index (LVMI) was measured,and pathological morphology was observed.Radioimmunoassay was used to detect the local AngⅡlevel of the left ventricular myocardial tissue.
Results:The AngⅡ level of the left ventricular myocardial tissue in model group was higher than that of sham operation group (
P<0.01).In captopril group,Bu Shen Prescription high dosage group and low dosage group,the AngⅡ level was lower than that in model group (
P<0.01).The left ventricular myocardial pathological morphology was similar except untreated group.
Conclusions:Bu Shen Prescription and captopril have similar effects in regressing the left ventricular remodeling in rats with pressure overload,which may be concerned with the decrease of local AngⅡ level of the left ventricular myocardial tissue.
