Abstract: Objective: To investigate the metal-porcelain in the fixed prosthesis treatment of advanced tooth wear.Methods: Thirty patients were restored with 251 metal-porcelain crowns and bridge after the removable occlusal tray was used.Results: The occlusion dentition was obtained.The dimensions of lower third of the face were improved.The functional activities of mastication were restored.The temporomandibular joint disturbance syndrome and hypersusceptible symptoms disappeared or were alleviated.Conclusions: The metal-porcelain is an effective treatment for advanced tooth wear.
