Abstract:
Objective: To explore the effect of Psychological and behavioral interventions on the negative emotion in young breast cancer patients.
Methods: Fifty-six cases of young patients with breast cancer were randomly divided into experiment group and control group, each group including 28 cases. Anxiety levels of patients were evaluated through questionnaires of self-rating cavity scale(SAS), self-rating depression scale(SDS) at the first day of diagnosis and the day before discharge.
Results: There was no statistical differences of levels of SAS and SDS between experiment and control group before Psychological and behavioral interventions(
P > 0.05),but it obvious lower in experiment group than that in control group after psychological and behavioral interventions(
P < 0.01).
Conclusions: Psychological and behavioral interventions can reduce the negative emotions, such as anxiety or depression,in young patients with breast cancer, and keep peace of mind to optimistically accept treatment.
