Abstract:
Objective: To explore an effective interventional therapy for avascular necrosis of femoral head(ANFH) by studying the digital subtraction angiography(DSA) and the clinical data.
Methods: Thirty-two cases with 51 hips of ANFH which were diagnosed by clinical examination and radiology received treatment of thrombolysis and perfusing drugs through catheter.
Results: The arteries of femoral head in 89% of the cases arose from the lateral femoral circumflex arteries and the imagings of DSA manifested as ischemia, congestion,or a combination of ischemia and congestion.
Conclusions: The interventional therapy for ANFH is effective for treatment of ANFH.
