Abstract:
Objective: To observe the influence of intracerebroventricular administraction of endomorphine-1 on the left venteicular systolic pressuer(LVSP) in anesthetized rats and to assess its mechanism.
Methods: Variations of LVSP were observed after injecting endomorphin-1 in anesthetized rats.
Results: Endomorphin-1 decreased the LVSP.The decrease in LVSP was blocked by cyprodime.
Conclusions: Intracerebroventricular administration of endomorphin-1 produces depression on the LVSP in the anesthetized rats, which is mediated by opioid receptor, associated with the central mcholinoceptor and the excitation of the vagus.
