Abstract:
Objective: To sum up the experience in monitoring and nursing of children with hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD).
Methods: In addition to the routine care,the common complications and threatening signs of 25 cases of HFMD were observed,and discharge guidance was provided.
Results: Antecedent signs were detected timely and dealt with at once,so the patients' condition did not aggravate.All the twenty-five cases were cured and discharged.
Conclusions: It is essential for the nurses to get some knowledge of HFMD,so that the signs of complications and other diseases can be monitored and managed properly,which may effectively prevent the occurrence of complications of HFMD and improve the curing rate.
