Abstract:
Objective:To assess the clinical value of dual-source computed tomography coronary angiography(DSCTA) in diagnosing coronary heant disease(CHD) patients with multi vessel disease and type 2 diabetes.
Methods:Forty-eight patients suffering from coronary artery disease and type 2 diabetes were underwent both DSCTA and coronary angiography (CAG). Regarding CAG as a standard reference,50% stenosis in two or more than two major coronary arteries were as multi vessel disease, the reliability of DSCTA for diagnosing coronary stenosis was analyzed.
Results:In the forty-eight patients, compared with CAG,the sensitivity and specificity of DSCTA for detecting light, middle and severe multivessel disease were 91.91%, 100.00%, 100.00%, 94.72%, respectively.
Conclusions:DSCTA could reliably provide promising value of diagnosing multi vessel disease in CHD patients with type 2 diabetes.
