Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the clinical manifestation,diagnosis and treatment of atypical urinary tuberculosis.
Methods: The data of 24 cases of atypical urinary tubercle(TB) were reviewed.Eighteen cases treated by surgical therapy were pathologically proved to have urinary TB and were administered antituberculosis drugs;6 suspected cases received medications.
Results: All the 24 cases were cured completely.
Conclusions: Medical records and related examination results should be considered in diagnosis of atypical urinary TB.Reasonable use of antibiotics is essential for the treatment of urologic disease and consciousness about atypical urinary TB should also be elevated.Antituberculosis drugs must be administered properly during surgical intervention.
