Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of ultrasound-guided one-step percutaneus transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD).
Methods: Clinical data of patients treated with PTBD were retrospectively analyzed.
Results: Sixty-eight times of 62 cases of PTBD were done,67 times were successful among them,only 1 time was failed.The symptom of jaundice was alleviated obviously in 58 cases one week post-operation,no obvious effect in 3 case.Three cases were treated with PTBD again whose catheters were displaced after two days.
Conclusions: Ultrasound-guided one-step percutaneus transhepatic biliary drainage is a simple and safe procedure which is recommended to apply in clinical practice.
