Abstract:
Objective: To observe the efficacy of intravenous thrombolytic therapy of streptokinase on early acute myocardial infarction(AMI).
Methods: Thirty-four patients with AMI were treated by intravenous thrombolytic therapy of streptokinase under electrocardiogram monitoring.
Results: The coronary reperfusions were observed in 22 cases, with a reperfusion rate of 64.7% and no reperfusion was found in 12 cases. Two patients died, with a mortality rate of 16.7%.The rates of complications during the different stages of thrombolytic therapy were significantly different(
P<0.005).No severe side effect was found except that one old patient developed digestive tract bleeding.
Conclusions: Early application of thrombolytic therapy to AMI can decrease the complication and mortality rate.
