Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of Chaihu plus Longgu Muli decoction combined with scraping along the meridian on neurological function, hemorheology and serum ubiquitin carboxy terminal hydrolase-1 (UCH-L1) level in patients with acute ischemic stroke.
Methods A total of 120 patients with acute ischemic stroke were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, and the observation group was treated with Chaihu plus Longgu Muli decoction combined with scrapping along the meridian on the basis of conventional treatment. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The changes of neurological function, blood rheology and serum UCH-L1 level before and after treatment were observed in the two groups, and the clinical treatment effect was evaluated.
Results After 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, the TCM syndrome score, NIHSS score, whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, serum UCH-L1 and GFAP levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05 ~ P < 0.01). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); There was no significant difference in adverse events between the two groups (P > 0.05).
Conclusions Chaihu plus Longgu Muli decoction combined with scraping along the meridian can significantly improve the neurological function of patients with acute ischemic stroke, improve the therapeutic effect, improve hemorheology, and reduce the serum UCH-L1 level, with high safety.
