Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the relationship between fibrinogen-β-845A/G polymorphism and premature coronary heart disease.
Methods: Seventy-eight cases of premature coronary heart disease and 81 controls were enrolled in the study.Phenol-trichlormethane was employed to extract DNA,polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RELP) was used to analyze Fg-β gene polymorphism, and the clinical data were collected. The blood sugar, blood lipids and other biological indicators were tested.
Results: There was no significant difference in genotype distribution and alleles of fibrinogen-β-845A/G between patients with premature coronary heart disease and controls(
P>0.05),but the difference was significant in total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein-C,apolipoprotein B and lipoprotein-a between the two groups(
P<0.05-
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The results suggest that fibrinogen-β-845A/G poly-morphism may not be associated with the susceptivity of premature coronary heart disease in China.
