Abstract:
Objective:To observe the role of neutrophils in early progressive injury of deep partial-thickness burn wound.
Methods:The neutrophils in 360 cases of deep partial-thickness burn wound were counted, and the recovery time was observed.
Results:The count of neutrophils in all the patients was high at the time of admission. The faster the count of neutrophils descended, the longer the recovery time was.
Conclusions:The tissue injury induced by neutrophils occurs before hospitalization.Anti oxidant agent and proteinase inhibitor should be administered immediately after the patients are hospitalized.
