Abstract:
Objective: To analyze the data of uroflometry and evaluate its effect on transurethral electrovaporization prostatectomy.
Methods: Sixty-four patients with prostatic hyperplasia had no urinary retention occurred before operation. The maximum flow rate(MFR),average flow rate(AFR),urinary flow time(T) and urinary output(V) were measured before operation,1 week and 1 month after operation.
Results: There were significant differences between pre-operation,1 week, and 1 month after operation(P<0.01).
Conclusions: Transurethral electrovaporization prostatectomy is an effective treatment for prostatic hyperplasia.Measuring uroflometry can be considered to be an objective evaluation of the operation effect.
