Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the inlluenc;e of deferoxamine(DFO) on the survival of random pattern skin flapin diabetic mice.Methods:Diabetes mellitus was induced with streptozotooin in C57/BL6 mice.A random pattern skin flap(1cmx3cm) was c;ranially designed and elevated on the back of C57 /BL6 mice.An image analysis technology was used to evaluate the survival rate of the skipflapand laser Doppler was used to survey the blood perfusion situation of skin flap.Results:Compared with control group(61.64士7.63)%,the survival area of the flapin DFO groupwas(88.44士6.56)%,which was significantly enlarged in seven days postoperatively (P0.01)Laser Doppler results displayed the blood flow in DFO groupwas higher than in control group(P0.01).Conclusions:DFO could improve flapmic;rooirc;ulation and increase its survival rate.
