Abstract:
Objective:To explore the experience and feasibility of transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy(TUSpLC).Methods:TUSpLC was performed in 5 patients with gallbladder disease (4 cases of calculus and 1 cases of polyps). Results:Transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed successfully in 5 patients.patients were discharged from hospital 3 days after operation without complications such as bleeding and bile leakage. No significant operation scar was found in umbilical region of patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Conclusions:Transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be completed safely by normal laparoscopic instrument.Tile umbilical scar was not obvious after operation. But transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy is more difficult than conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomy.TUSpLC should be indicated for the patients with higher cosmetic demand.
