Abstract:
Objective:To do Meta-analysis and assess the efficacy of ulinastatin in patients with hepatectomy of randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Methods:RCTs were located through electronic databases of the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,MEDLINE (2000-2011),EMbase(2000-2011),CBMdisc(2000-2011),CNKI(2000-2011) and VIp(2000-2011).Quality assessment and data abstraction were performed by three reviews independently.Meta-analysis was conducted for the eligible RCTs.Results:Five RCTs were included.Meta-analysis indicated that the levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and total bile acid were decreased significantly in patients with ulinastatin treatment on the early postoperative time(the first day and third day) after hepatectomy.Significant heterogeneity was existed between the pooled studies(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusions:Application of ulinastatin after resection of liver has a positive effect on liver function.
