Abstract:
Objective:To observe the clinical and full-field digital mammography manifestation of the phyllodes tumor. Methods:The data of 11 involved cases confirmed both postoperatively and pathologically were analyzed retrospectively. Results:All the patients visited the doctor because of unexpected detection of indolent mass in the breast.physical examination showed that the mass was firm in texture, but mobile; the surface of the lesion was smooth and felt no tenderness.Imaging findings showed that the density of the lesions was uniform, and most of them presented sharply defined outline; only one case displayed blurred margin. The tumor was lobulated in 5 cases, with no calcification inside.Scattered calcifications were observed in only 2 cases below and around the lesion. No glitch or secondary malignant signs were detected. Conclusions:Combination analysis of pathologic and clinical findings,as well as imaging manifestations may improve the preoperational diagnosis of phyllode tumor of the breast.
