Abstract:
Objective:To assess the clinical value of hysteroscopy and ultrasonography in diagnosing the intrauterine abnormality in infertility women. Methods:The clinical data of 182 infertility women who had accepted hysteroscopy and ultrasound examination were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Intrauterine abnormality was detected in 88 of the cases by ultrasonography and 150 cases by hysteroscopy.There was significant difference between the two methods(P0.01).The common intrauterine abnormalities included endometrium polyp,cervical diseases,myoma,endometritis,uterine cavity adhesion and malformation of uterus. Conclusions:Hysteroscopy which is well acceptable and accurate is highly effective in detecting the intrauterine abnormality in infertility women when combined with ultrasonography.
