Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the clinical values of 64-slice computed tomography coronary angiography(64SCTCA) in contrast to conventional coronary angiography(CCA). Methods:Thirty-five patients with 64SCTCA detected coronary artery stenosis were, using volume representation, surface reconstruction, maximum density projection techniques restructuring image shows the coronary artery main branch and the main branches, and X-ray coronary artery imaging(CCA) compared with the results of the analysis. Results:64SCTCA showed 90 lesions.Of them,85 lesions were consisted with CCA,22 lesions falsely positive and 10 lesions were fond by CCA not picked up by 64-slice CTCA.There was no obvious difference in the discovery of CAD between 64SCTCA and CCA. Conclusions: 64SCTCA has high accuracy in detecting coronary artery stenoses,as a noninvasive method,it can be used for screening patients with coronary artery diseases.
