Abstract: Objective:To improve the life quality of early breast cancer patients treated with breast conserving therapy and postoperative radiotherapy.Methods:Forty-nine early breast patients patients who received breast conserving therapy and postoperative radiotherapy were treated and followed up in our department.Local recurrence rate,breast cosmetic outcome and survival rate were reported.Results:No local recurrence was found.Developed metastasis was happened in three cases.Disease-free survival rate for 3 years was 93.88%.Cosmetic result scored as good by patient and doctor were 91.83% and 85.71%,respectively.Acute skin reaction was the main complication.Conclusions:Satisfactory life quality and local control can be obtained in early breast cancer patients with breast conserving therapy and postoperative radiotherapy,but the doctors must master the conserving therapy indications and the comprehensive therapy technique strictly.
