Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of Fra-1 expression in gastric carcinoma tissues. Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 50 cases of gastric carcinoma were collected. The expression of Fra-1 in the gastric carcinoma tissues and the paraneoplastic tissues were detected using RT-PCR. Results:The expression of Fra-1 in gastric carcinoma tissues was higher than that in paraneoplastic tissues(P0. 01). The expression of Fra-1 was related to the lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion and TNM stages (P 0. 05),but not related to the gender, age, cancer differentiation or size of the tumour(P0. 05). Conclusions:High expression of Fra-1 may be related to the genesis and progression of gastric carcinoma, it may act as a molecule parameter in the early diagnosis of gastric carcinoma and a potential target in the targeted therapy.
