Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of domestic tubular stapler in transabdominal total gastrectomy.
Methods: Fifty-eight cases of gastric cancer were treated by transabdominal total gastrectomy.Roux-en-Y modal of digestive reconstruction were accomplished after total gastrectomy for gastric cancer with domestic tubular stapler.
Results: Fifty-seven cases were anastomosed by one stage,but 1 case had to be reanastomosed through the chest.No anastomotic leakage or hemorrhage was observed.During the follow-up of six monthes to two years,anastomotic stenosis occurred in one case.
Conclusions: Familiarity with the function of domestic tubular stapler and proper operation can significantly shorten the surgery time,reduce blood loss,and alleviate tissue damage,reaching a satisfactory outcome.
