Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical application of neck dissection preserving cervical plexus nerve in thyroid cancer.
Methods: The neck dissection preserving cervical plexus nerve was performed in 27 patients with differentiated thyroid cancer,and the clinical effect was observed.
Results: No impairment of sensation of ears,lower necks or shoulders were found in all the 27 patients,and no recurrence of lymph node of neck was observed during the follow-up of one to three years.
Conclusions: The neck dissection preserving cervical plexus nerve can improve the life quality of the patients without increasing the recurrence rate of lymph node of neck.
