Abstract:
Objective:To explore the polymorphism of tumor necrosis factor-(TNF-),transforming growth factor beta1(TGF-1),interleukin 10(IL-10),IL-18,and interferon-(IFN-) genes with human papilloma virus(HPV) positive cervical injury. Methods:A case-control study was conducted on 42 women presenting with HPV infection and cervical lesion and 87 HPV-negative women, and the single nucleotide polymorphisms of TNF-,TGF--,IL-10,IL-18 and IFN-genes were observed and compared. Results:There was nosignicant difference on the cytokine polymorphisms including TNF-,IL-10,IL-18 and TGF- between HPV positive and HPV negative women(P0.05),while the proporaficn of medium and high expression of IFN- was increased significantly in HPV positive women(P0.01).Conclusions:Cytokine polymorphisms measurement may be useful for providing further information regarding their influence in HPV-related cervical lesion.
