Abstract:
Objective:To observe the efficacy of mosapride and Medilac-Vita in treating preterm neonates with feeding intolerance. Methods:One hundred and seven preterm neonates in hospital from Jan.2004 to Dec.2005 were treated as control group. The other 260 preterm neonates in hospital from Jan.2006 to Dec.2008 feeding with Mosapride and Medilac-Vitad to prevent feeding intolerance were regarded as treated group. The incidences of feeding intolerance in the two groups were observed. The time to reach ful1 enteral feeding and the time to reach the birth weight in the preterm neonates with feeding intolerance were recorded. Results:Sixty five preterm neonates emerged feeding intolerance in treated group, the incidence was 24.07%.In these 65 cases, the time to reach the birth weight was(11.173.87)d and the time to reach full enteral feeding was(9.053.26)d.Thirty-eight preterm neonates emerged feeding intolerance in control group, the incidence was 35.51%.In the 38 cases, the time to reach full enteral feeding was(11.766.28)d,the time to reach the birth weight was(12.923.91)d.Compared with the treated group, the difference was conspicuous. Conclusions:Mosapride and Medilac-Vita show definite effect in preventing and treating preterm neonates with feeding intolerance.
