Abstract: Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of calcium dobesilate in patients with chronic renal failure.Methods:Seventy-nine patients with chronic renal failure were randomly divided into the observation the group(n=39) and the control group(n=40).The patients in both groups were received general treatment,while in observation group,the patients were given calcium dobesilate additionally,0.5 g three times a day,for weeks.Results:The effective rate was 74.36% in treatment group and 27.5% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).Compared to control group,the levels of blood urea nitrogen,creatinine and 24-hour urinary protein were decreased sharply,and creatinine clearance rate and Hb level were increased clearly,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusions:Calcium dobesilate is effective and safe in treatment of chronic renal failure.
