Abstract:
Objective:To explore the influence of psychological care involving family members on patients with depression and their caregivers.Methods:One hundred and twenty-four hospitalized patients with depression were randomly divided into observation group and control group received.The observation group received the psychological care involving the family members and the control group received the routine care.All the patients were tested by Hamilton Depression Scale( HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale( HAMA),and their caregivers were tested by Symptom Checklist( SCL-90) and Family Functional Assessment Scale( FAD) before and the 12th and 24th week afer the intervention.Results:In the 12th and 24th week,the differences in the HAMD,HAMA depression,anxiety,interpersonal sensitivity factor points,SCL-90 total score,behavior control,communication and FAD score between the observation group and the control group were statistically significant( P0.01);There was a positive correlation between the SCL-90 total score and the control factors( P0.05);the SCL 90 total score,anxiety and HAMA factor points had a positive correlation with the total household function( P0.05);The somatization was positively correlated with the communication( P0.05).Conclusions:Psychological care involving family members can greatly enhance the curative effect on patients with depression and relieve their caregivers' depression and anxiety,improving the family function.It is worthy of popularization.
