Abstract:
Objective: To study the correlated risk factors of children Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(HSPN) . Methods: One hundred and eighty-six Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) children were reviewed and analyzed. According to the routine urinary examination, children were divided into HSPN group(n = 56) and non-HSPN group(n = 130) , and then monofactorial analysis and nonconditional logistic analysis were performed to evaluate the risk factors in children with HSPN. results: In univariate analysis, frequent occurrence of purprua, arthrosis symptom, hemorrhage of digestive tract and abdominal pain were identified as factors associated with nephritis(P < 0. 05 to P < 0. 01) . Logistic regression analysis showed that nephritis was significantly associated with frequent occurrence of purprua, arthrosis symptom and abdominal pain(P < 0. 01) . Conclusions: Frequent occurrence of purprua, arthrosis symptom and abdominal pain are high factors towards renal damage that can not be neglected. Patients with these risk factors should be rigorously monitored and need to take positive measures to prevent the development and progression of renal damage.
