Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of ureteroscopic holmium laser in the treatment of ureteral calculic. Methods: Sixty cases with ureteral calculi complicated with infection,narrow ureter openings,large stone,ureteral injury during lithotripsy and ureteroscope return difficulty were treated with ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy. Results: The successful rate of lithotripsy was 93. 3%( 56 cases),the stone-free rate was 96. 4%( 54 cases). Ureteral peforation in 2 cass and stone moving into kidney in 2 cases were found,and no serious complications such as ureteral mucosa avulsion and septicemia occurred. Conclusions: Ureteroscopic holmium laser in the treatment of ureteral calculic is safe,effective and less invasion,but operative technique and experience accumulation are needed.
