Abstract: Objective: To explore the characters of the sexual assault cases by analyzing the relevant forensic data of female victim with mental retardation.Methods: The forensic data of psychiatric identification in 83 female victims with mental retardation were retrospectively analyzed using the self-compiled questionnaire.Results: Most abilities loss of self-defence in the sexual abuse of female victims with mental retardation were identified(97.6%).The countryside area was the most crime scene(77.1%).The monitoring effort was negatively correlated with the violation degree of victim(P < 0.05).Conclusions: The sexual assault cases of female victim with mental retardation has its characteristics.The guardians and community should strengthen the sex education in female victim with mental retardation to improve their defense capability.
