Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the feasibility, clinical effects, safety, induction of labor in mid-pregnancy patients with uterine scar treated by mifepristone combined with ethacridine.Methods:Ninety-eight mid-pregnant women with uterine scar were randomly divided into group A(mifepristone conbined with ethacridine) and group B(ethacridine only),forty-nine cases each group.Success of induced labor, placenta fetal membrane residual rate and cervical laceration rate were observed and compared.Results:Forty-nine cases in group A were all success,3 cases in group B were under cesarean section because of threatened uterine rupture, there were no significant difference in the success rate(P 0.05).Contractions started with cervical maturity, placenta fetal membrane residual rate, cervical laceration rate were significantly different(P 0.01),the effect of induced labor, group A evidently better than group B.Conclusions:Mifepristone combined with ethacridine for mid-pregnancy abortion with uterine scar is safe, convenient, effective and worthy of clinical application.
