Abstract:
Objective: To compare the effects of two kinds of adhesive system in repairing class IV cavity.
Methods: One hundred and sixty-two teeth with Class IV cavity were randomly divided into A group and B group(81 cases each group).Group A and B were repaired by two-step and one-step adhesive system combined with composite resin, respectively.
Results: There was not significant difference in the repair success rate between two groups in 6 months and 1 year after treatment(
P>0.05).The success rate of A group was higher than that in B group in 2 years after treatment(
P<0.05).
Conclusions: The long-term(2 years) effect of two-step adhesive system in repairing class IV cavity is good.
