    The association between myeloperoxidase-463 G/A genetic polymorphism and coronary heart disease

    • 摘要: 目的: 探讨髓过氧化物酶(MPO)-463G/A基因多态性与冠心病(coronary heart disease,CHD)的易患关系。方法: 采用病例-对照研究的方法。CHD组60例,均行冠状动脉造影证实;正常对照组69名,均排除冠状动脉疾病及脑卒中等病史。用PCR-RFLP的方法判断各组基因型,并进行统计学分析。结果: 携带至少一个等位基因A的基因型(GA+AA)冠心病发病率是GG型的0.208倍;携带等位基因A冠心病的发生是不携带该基因的0.229倍。结论: MPO-463G/A多态性与CHD的易患性显著相关。该位点A基因的表达在CHD的发生过程中起保护性作用。

       

      Abstract: Objective: To study the relationship between myeloperoxidase-463 G/A genetic polymorphism(MPO)and coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods: A case-control study was performed in 60 CHD patients proved by angiography and 69 controls with no history of CHD or stroke.PCR-RFLP methods were used to decide the genotype of the patients,and the statistical analysis was carried out.Results: The risk of CHD in the genotype carrying at least one A allele was 0.208 times that of the GG genotype;the risk of CHD in the genotype carrying A allele was 0.229 times that of carrying G allele.Conclusions: Myeloperoxidase-463G/A polymorphism of the MPO gene influences the risk of CHD.And A allele has protective effect on the occurrence of CHD.
