Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of lung resistance related protein (LRP) and multidrug resistance associated protein (MRP) in lung cancer.
Methods:Sixty two cases of lung cancer were detected of the presence of LRP and MRP by immunohistochemical analysis.
Results:The expression of LRP and MRP,in lung cancer was 61.3% and 70.0% respectively, and their common positive expression was 51.6%.The expreesion of LRP and MRP had no significant diffrerence in the clinicopathological variables including age, sex, pathology type, differentiation degree or TNM stage (
P>0.05).In addition,LRP had no correlation with MRP (
P>0.05).
Conclusions:The expression of LRP and MRP is related with lung cancer's intrinsic drug resistance, but not obviously coorelated with the clinicopathological characteristics. There is no correlation between LRP and MRP.
