Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical features of hepatitis B virus superinfection hepatitis E virus.
Methods: The clinical datas of different age groups and HBeAg(+) or (-) groups of which hepatitis B virus superinfected hepatitis E virus were analyzed retrospectively.
Results: In 107 patients:no significant differences in the levels of ALT、PT、BPC and TBIL were found in different age groups(
P>0.05),but there were significant differences in the level of A/G and WBC(
P<0.01 and
P<0.05).Moreover the mortality of the old age group was higher than the youth age groups(
P<0.005).No significant differences in the levels of ALT、TBIL、A/G、WBC and BPC were found in HBeAg(+) or (-) groups (
P>0.05),however,the levels of PT were significant different between two groups(
P<0.05),the mortalities among HBeAg(-)、HBeAg seroconversion and HBeAg(+) group were not significant different(
P>0.05).
Conclusions: The mortality of the old age patients is highest among patients in which hepatitis B virus superinfected hepatitis E virus.Hepatitis B virus which is HBeAg(-) may be easier superinfected hepatitis E virus than hepatitis B virus which is HBeAg(+).
