Abstract:
Objective: To observe the effects of the psychological and behavioral intervention on the compliance,mental health and blood pressure control of patients with essential hypertension.
Methods: One hundred and two patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into the control group(
n=52) and observation group(
n=50),the control group were treated with routine nursing and the observation group were treated with and psychological and behavior intervention according to the patients,respectively.The compliance,mental health and blood pressure control between two groups were analyzed in 6 months after treatment.
Results: After 6-month psychological and behavioral intervention,the blood pressure in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(
P<0.01),the mental health improvement in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Psychological and behavioral intervention for patients can effectively control the blood pressure,improve compliance and level of mental health.
