Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the minimally invasive operation for treatment of gluteus contracture(GC).
Methods: Based on physical signs and pathological changes,GC was divided into A,B,C three types.Thirty patients with 60 sides who were diagnosed as GC were treated with the minimally invasive operation and rehabilitation detacher. The therapeutic effectiveness comparison was made between minimally invasive treatment and the little wound treatment via posterior greater trochanter by the same standard of therapeutic evaluation.
Results: The score of therapeutic effectiveness of minimally invasive complex treatment averaged 9.2 and 10 points at 1 week and 3 weeks, respectively. And after four postoperative days, the patients left hospital with recovery. The score of therapeutic effectiveness of wound treatment via posterior greater trochanter averaged 6 and 9 points at 1 week and 3 weeks respectively. And the patients left hospital after 12 to 14 postoperative days.
Conclusions: The minimally invasive complex treatment of GC is feasible, safe, less traumatic and easy to manipulate with a quick recovery and little pain and without physical signs.
