Abstract:
Objective: To study the application of digital three-dimensional reconstructed titanium mesh in repairing large skull defects.
Methods: Ten cases of large skull defects repaired with digital three-dimensional reconstructed titanium mesh in selective operations were retrospectively analyzed.
Results: All cases were repaired satisfactorily.There was no severe complication including wound infection,restore-material displacing or revealing happened.
Conclusions: The digital three-dimensional reconstructed titanium mesh had advantages including good inosculation and low rejection,it could be the first selecting material to repair large skull defects.
